Over the last few years we have seen a wonderful trend in our results. We have consistently had sufficient runners in the 70+ category to justify separating out the category.
Starting in 2014 for our 25th Edition of the race we are adding a 70-74 category and a 75+ for both genders.
This will let us better recognise and reward our more seasoned runners achievements.
The First Half has always claimed to be ‘a race for runners, by runners’. We hope this new addition continues to show our commitment to this philosophy.
